Tom was born in 1891.  Tom's father is Thomas Joseph Taylor and his mother is Mary Elizabeth McDonald.  His paternal grandparents are About Family Tree Taylor and Taylor Family Tree About; his maternal grandparents were Joseph McDonald and Margaret Winterbottom.  He had two brothers and three sisters, named Frederick, Archibald, Margaret, Daisey and Alexandroona.  He is the youngest of the six children.
