Daisey was born in 1878.  Daisey's father is Thomas Joseph Taylor and her mother is Mary Elizabeth McDonald.  Her paternal grandparents are About Family Tree Taylor and Taylor Family Tree About; her maternal grandparents were Joseph McDonald and Margaret Winterbottom.  She had three brothers and two sisters, named Frederick, Archibald, Tom, Margaret and Alexandroona.  She is the third oldest of the six children.
