Robert was born on January 28th, 1855.  Robert's father was William John Stynes and his mother was Mary Anne McDonald.  His paternal grandparents are About Family Tree Stynes and Stynes Family Tree About; his maternal grandparents were Edward McDonald and Catherine Potaskie II.  He had three brothers and four sisters, named James, William, First Child, Sarah, Unnamed, Elizabeth and Anne.  He died at the age of 51 in 1906.
