Joseph was born in 1801.  Joseph's father was John Potaskie and his mother was Catherine Sullivan.  His paternal grandparents are Potaskie Family Tree About and About Family Tree Potaskie.  He had three sisters named Catherine, Anna/Anne and Eleanor (Ellen).  He died by execution, Hanged, at the age of 20 on April 28th, 1821 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.
