Elizabeth was born in 1841.  Elizabeth's father was Charles Pemberton and her mother was Elizabeth Ann Glover.  Her paternal grandfather is Thomas Pemberton and her paternal grandmother was Ann Unknown; her maternal grandparents are John Glover and Elizabeth Jones.  She had three brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Thomas, William, Sarah, Agnes, Anne and Mary.  She was the fifth oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 56 in 1897.
