Edna was born in 1915.  Edna's father was Herbert Benjamin (Bert) Pearce and her mother was Emily Frances Elizabeth Wright.  Her paternal grandparents were Francis James (Jim) Pearce and Mary Matilda Todd; her maternal grandparents were Charles Henry Wright and Selina Mills.  She had three brothers and a sister, named Leonard, Frederick, Francis and Olga.  She was the oldest of the five children.  She died in 1915.
