Charles was born in 1889.  Charles' father is Neil McQueen and his mother was Mary McDonald.  His maternal grandparents were Edward McDonald and Maria (Mary) Maher.  He has three brothers and two sisters, named Percy, Archie, Donald, May and Florence.  He is the fourth oldest of the six children.
