Mary was born in 1915.  Mary's father was John McGlenchy and her mother was Agatha Evelyn Jenkins.  She had two brothers and three sisters, named Wilfred, Arthur, Margaret, Catherine and Ruby.  She was the youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 88 in 2003.
