Neil was born in 1916.  Neil's father is Hector Charles McDonald and his mother is Delia Anthony.  His paternal grandparents were James McDonald and Charlotte Warren.  He had a sister named Gwynne.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 41 in 1957.
