Margaret was born on November 18th, 1861.  Margaret's father was Edward McDonald and her mother was Maria (Mary) Maher.  Her paternal grandparents were Edward McDonald and Catherine Potaskie II.  She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Edward, James, Lillian, Mary and Bridget.  She was the sixth oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 89 in 1950.
