John Joseph McDonald

John was born on April 28th, 1846 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. John's father was Joseph McDonald and his mother was Margaret Winterbottom. His paternal grandparents were Edward McDonald and Catherine Potaskie II. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Thomas, William, Charles, Ellen, Mary, Margaret, Emma and Alice. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 80 on December 29th, 1926 in Birregurra, Victoria, Australia.¹
