Brigid was born on October 23rd, 1846.  Brigid's father was Edward McDonald and her mother was Catherine Potaskie II.  Her paternal grandparents are About Family Tree McDonald and McDonald Family Tree About; her maternal grandparents were John Potaskie and Catherine Sullivan.  She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, John, Edward, Owen, Walter, Daniel, James, Mary, Anne, Catherine and Elizabeth.  She was the youngest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 39 on March 31st, 1886.
