Patricia was born in 1948.  Patricia's father was Alexander (Alistair) Mackenzie and her mother was Lizzie Dogherty (Aka Ida Davidson).  Her maternal grandfather is George McCandless and her maternal grandmother was Susan Woodend Dogherty.  She had a brother and a sister, named Donald and Catherine.  She is the second oldest of the three children.
