Mary was born in June 1933.  Mary's father was Arthur James (Jim) Kenna and her mother was Mary Avery.  Her paternal grandparents were John Francis (Jack) Kenna and Ethel Mary Murphy.  She has three brothers and a sister, named Geoffrey, Brian, Robert and Joan.
