Lorraine was born in July 1945.  Lorraine's father was Allan Jenkins and her mother is Kathleen Mary (Betty) Kenna.  Her maternal grandparents were John Francis (Jack) Kenna and Ethel Mary Murphy.  She has three brothers and a sister, named Ross, Peter, David and Heather.  She is the oldest of the five children.
