Patricia was born in June 1974.  Patricia's father is Catrinus (Dennis) Haringa and her mother was Catherine Mackenzie.  Her maternal grandparents were Alexander (Alistair) Mackenzie and Lizzie Dogherty (Aka Ida Davidson).  She has three brothers and a sister, named Alexander, Daniel, Donald and Elizabeth.  She is the fourth oldest of the five children.
