Nellie was born in 1888.  Nellie's father was William John Fowler and her mother was Mary (Polly) Ann Dunlop.  Her maternal grandparents were John Dunlop and Sarah Healy.  She had a brother and four sisters, named Henry, Alice, Maggie, Cecilia and Myrtle.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named James, Williams, Alfred, Thomas and Elizabeth.  She died at the age of 82 on June 24th, 1970.
