Jan was born in October 1958.  Jan's father is Jack Douglas Driscoll and her mother is Aileen Patricia McKenzie.  Her maternal grandparents were Harold John McKenzie and Ethel Margaret Kenna.  She has three brothers named Mark, John and Matthew.  She is the second oldest of the four children.
