Leo was born in 1907.  Leo's father is Jas Delany and his mother is Mary Jane Kenna.  His maternal grandparents were Cornelius Kenna and Margaret Nisdale.  He had three brothers named Francis, Patrick and James.  He is the oldest of the four children.
