Euphemia was born on January 1st, 1881.  Euphemia's father was Ebenezer James Dawson and her mother was Eliza Gateland.  Her paternal grandfather was William Dawson and her paternal grandmother is Anne Lydia Barrett; her maternal grandparents were James Gateland and Hanna (Anna/Anne) Potaskie.  She had four brothers and nine sisters, named James, Ebenezer, Harry, Basil, Grace, Minnie, Cecilia, Amy, Eva, Gertrude, Rose, Blanche and Winnifred.  She was the twelfth oldest of the fourteen children.  She died at the age of 32 on March 29th, 1913.
