Thomas was born on July 3rd, 1906.  Thomas' father was Joseph George Bradstreet and his mother was Bridget Ellen Toohey.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Elvin Bradstreet and Elizabeth Catherine Hughes; his maternal grandparents were John Martin Toohey and Bridget Egan.  He had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Joseph, Mary, Teresa and Catherine.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 89 in 1995.
