Francis was born on June 30th, 1873.  Francis' father was Thomas Elvin Bradstreet and his mother was Elizabeth Catherine Hughes.  His paternal grandparents are William Henry Bradstreet and Sarah Elvins; his maternal grandparents were Edward D Hughes and Catherine Elizabeth Flynn.  He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Thomas, Frederick, Joseph, Austin, Bernard, Catherine and Mary.  He was the eighth oldest of the nine children.  He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, Theodore, Mabel and Gertrude.  He died at the age of 31 on March 19th, 1905.
